Understanding Your Child's Development

Developmental Milestones in Early Childhood

Ages: 1-3 years

Language Development

Young children begin to communicate by saying their first words, like "mama" and "dada." They learn to follow simple instructions and understand questions. They also start to put words together to form basic sentences.

Ages: (2-4 years)

Cognitive Development

Children explore the world around them and learn to identify colors, shapes, and sizes. They start counting and solving simple problems. Their imaginations grow as they engage in pretend play and create stories.

Social-Emotional Development

My Son has attended Ladybird at Hunter’s Creek since he was 10 months old, he is now about to graduate from Pre-K and to tell you that is painful to think that they will no longer be caring for him. We transitioned our daughter from a different daycare to Lady Bird. We were on the waiting list for almost a year. I was amazed at how thoughtful, caring and wonderful the staff are. They provide nutritious meals, which shocked me as other places ask you to bring in the food. Ms. Jenny is phenomenal with the kids. Her learning activities are incredible, and my daughter comes home with a big smile from all the fun activities and crafts they do in class. She is very nurturing with the kids and very patient. Ms. Stephanie has made a connection with my daughter and is very thoughtful with the kids. Ms. Dahlia is very sweet with the kids. My daughter especially loves story time with her. Ms. DD is new but is just as kind and caring with the kids. We are in LOVE with Lady Bird Academy. This is the place you want you kids to learn and grow. They have various learning activities, and the kids enjoy attending the center.
