I have been in ECE for 32 years. I owned two NAEYC accredited pre- schools in south Florida for 18 years with my husband before moving to Texas. I am a Certified Director with the National Institute of Child Care Management and Administration; I have my CDA and my bachelor’s degree.
I thoroughly enjoy working in this profession. I am grateful to be a small part of helping to raise and educate young children. Watching the wheels turn as something clicks or they suddenly grasp an idea or master a new skill never gets old. It amazes me how much we learn in the first few years of life. And the stories we hear and the hugs we get from them always keep me smiling.
I am married with two grown sons and am thrilled to be a Gigi to 3 grandchildren.
